Contact Energy has appointed Tighe Wall as its new Chief Digital Officer. He will report to Chief Customer Officer Vena Crawley and be responsible for driving the ongoing digital transformation of Contact’s retail business.
Tighe’s most recent role was as the head of digital strategy and transformation for German energy company E.ON where he was responsible for the management and implementation of the company’s global digital strategy, transformation program, and digital portfolio. He brings strong experience from the energy and industrial sectors, as well as professional services with past roles at IBM Interactive Experience.
Mr Crawley said he was excited about the appointment. “Tighe brings deep, international digital experience to Contact from his time in the USA, UK, Germany and Amsterdam. It will be fantastic to have him on board later this month to help Contact navigate the challenges and opportunities of the NZ energy sector.
