Contact Broadband Recurring $25 Energy Credit Offer Terms and Conditions

  1. The Contact Broadband Recurring $25 Energy Credit Offer Terms and Conditions (“the Offer”) is available to new and existing Contact Energy electricity customers who add a broadband plan using the same name, account number, and email address listed on the Contact electricity account. 
  2. The Offer is applied as one $25 (incl. GST) monthly credit to your electricity account per month for twelve months, totalling $300. There are instances where a credit may appear as exclusive of GST. In that case, the credit will reflect the amount of $21.74.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt and to ensure the Offer is applied correctly to your electricity account, when adding Contact broadband services, you must apply the promo code “BROADBAND25” when signing up at contact.co.nz.
  4. The Promotional Period begins when you successfully connect to both Contact electricity and broadband services, and ends 12 months later. 
  5. You must retain both Contact electricity and broadband services during the Promotional Period to receive the Offer. If you cancel Contact Energy electricity and/or broadband services during the Promotional Period, the Offer will cease to apply and no further credit will be applied to your electricity account. No credit or refund relating to the Offer will be given.
  6. The credit will be applied to your Contact account within 30 days from when you are successfully connected to Contact electricity and broadband services.
  7. Contact reserves the right to investigate any activity it suspects to be fraudulent or not in good faith. Contact reserves the right to decline the Offer or remove the credit from your account if it considers you have acted fraudulently or not in good faith.
  8. The Offer credit is not transferable, refundable nor redeemable for cash or cash equivalents.
  9. Only one Offer is available per electricity connection.
  10. Contact reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend this Offer without notice at any time and shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result.
  11. The Offer is not available to customers who have previously signed up to a special Contact broadband offer in the last 6 months and is not available in conjunction with any other broadband or energy offers.
  12. The Offer is only available to residential electricity customers of Contact on standard payment plans. The Offer is not available to PrePay customers.
  13. By applying for the Offer, you acknowledge you have read and accepted these Offer Terms and Conditions.
  14. These terms and conditions should be read alongside any other terms and conditions that apply to your services with Contact (including, our general terms and conditions for residential and business customers, residential special plan terms and conditions and Contact broadband general terms and conditions).
  15. The Offer will be governed by New Zealand law.
