Contact is developing solar farms across the country with Lightsourcebp to help capture more of Aotearoa’s renewable energy potential. Kōwhai Park at Christchurch Airport is nearing completion, and work is underway at Glorit on the Kaipara Coast.

Our teams are building world-class geothermal generation through innovation and strong partnerships in the Taupō region, including a phased replacement of the Wairākei Power Station.

Contact’s grid-scale battery helps make the most of abundant renewable energy, storing it for when it’s needed most, and increasing the flexibility and reliability of Aotearoa’s electricity system. We’re underway with our second battery at Glenbrook in South Auckland.
