As Contact grows, so does the importance of understanding how materials and waste are managed across our operations, projects and asset lifecycles. Through our Waste Management Programme, we're working to better understand waste generated across our business and identify opportunities to reduce waste and recover resources where practical.

To support this work, we have completed waste audits across selected operational sites and construction projects, reviewed waste data, and engaged with site teams, contractors and specialists to identify opportunities for improvement. Findings from these audits are helping to shape our future approach and priorities.
We have a range of waste reduction initiatives already underway across our operational sites, construction projects and offices, from reusable milk delivery systems saving more than 500 plastic milk bottles each year at our Clyde office, to partnerships with specialist recyclers that have enabled effective recycling of end-of-life operational assets.
