Contact launches mobile plans to help Kiwis stay connected

Renewable energy company, Contact has launched its first ever mobile plans designed to help Kiwis stay connected while keeping costs low.

From this month, Contact offers a choice of three primary mobile plan options:

  • Small: $40/ month (5GB max speed data)
  • Medium: $60/ month (16GB max speed data)
  • Large: $80 / month (unlimited max speed data)

All plans are open term, include unlimited calls and texts to New Zealand and Australia, and have free hot spotting of endless or unlimited data allowances.

A core feature of Contact’s mobile plans is the option to add up to four people onto any plan for only $25 a month each.

“So, if a family of four all need unlimited data, one family member can opt for Contact’s Large plan for $80 a month and then the rest of the family can have all the features of that plan for only $25 a month each,” says Matt Bolton, Chief Retail Officer.

“It’s all about sharing the love and getting more bang for your buck. The more people you add to your group, the bigger the savings. And it’s not limited to the people living in your house, you can add any four people onto your plan no matter where they are in the country.

“Plus, with no contracts, no need to bundle with any of our other services and the first three months on us, customers have freedom to adjust their mobile plan needs should their circumstances change. They can even keep their current phone number!”

Contact uses the One NZ (formerly Vodafone) network to deliver its mobile service.

Matt says Contact aims to give Kiwis choice at a fair price. “Entering the telco market adds another string to our bow, meaning we offer a full suite of energy, broadband, gas and mobile plans that not only make it good to be home, but are also good on the wallet.”
