Contact Energy $200 Broadband and $200 Mobile Credit Offer Terms and Conditions

1. THE OFFER

As part of this offer, you’ll be able to enjoy up to $400 energy credit when you add Contact Mobile using your electricity account number and/or Contact Broadband using the promo code ‘CONTACT200’.

1.1 The energy credit is made up of:

  • (a) One $200 energy credit for adding Contact Mobile

  • (b) One $200 energy credit for adding Contact Broadband at the same address of your electricity account

together these make up the “Offer” totalling $400 energy credit.

1.2 For the avoidance of doubt to ensure the Offer credit is applied correctly to your electricity account:

  • (a) When adding Contact broadband services, you must apply the promo code “CONTACT200” when signing up at contact.co.nz.

  • (b) When joining Contact mobile services, you must use the same name, account number, and email address as listed on your electricity account at contactmobile.co.nz. Additionally, you must activate your SIM within 30 days to receive the credit offer.

1.3 The Offer credit will be applied as one upfront $200 (including GST) credit to the customer’s electricity account. If both broadband and mobile services are added, the customer’s electricity account will reflect two separate $200 credit entries, totalling $400 (including GST). There are instances where a credit may appear as exclusive of GST and therefore will reflect the amount of $173.91 (exclusive of GST).

1.4 The credit will be applied to your Contact account within 30 days from when you are successfully connected to Contact electricity, broadband and/or mobile services.

1.5 Only one mobile and/or broadband Offer credit per electricity account.

1.6 The Offer is valid for a limited time only. Contact reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend this Offer without notice at any time and shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result.

1.7 The Offer credit is not transferable, refundable nor redeemable for cash or cash equivalents.

1.8 By applying the Offer promo code to your account, you acknowledge you have read and accepted these Offer Terms and Conditions.

1.9 The Offer will be governed by New Zealand law.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Offer is available to new or existing Contact customers who:

  • a) are first successfully connected to Contact electricity services and are accepted as a customer for these services; and

  • b) adds:

    • i) an eligible broadband service at the same address, and/or

    • ii) an eligible mobile plan using the same name, account number, and email address listed on their electricity account.

2.2 Contact Broadband services are only available to residential electricity customers of Contact on standard payment plans. Broadband services are not available to PrePay customers.

2.3 The Offer is not available to customers who have signed up for a special Contact Broadband or Contact Mobile offer within the last six months, nor is it available in conjunction with any other broadband, mobile, or energy offers.

2.4 Eligible mobile plans mean the Small $40, Medium $60 and Large $80 Contact mobile pay monthly plans.

2.5 Existing customers on a Contact mobile plan who change plans will not qualify as a new connection and are ineligible for the mobile credit. However, existing Contact Mobile customers who add a new connection to their account are eligible.

2.6 Mobile speeds are reduced to 1.2mbps if Plan data cap exceeded. Mobile plan costs exclude add-on’s, international charges, roaming, MMS and premium numbers.

2.7 If you leave Contact within 30 days from when you are successfully connected to Contact services, the Offer will cease to apply, and no credit or refund will be given.

2.8 Contact reserves the right to investigate any activity it suspects to be fraudulent or not in good faith. Contact reserves the right to decline the Offer or remove the credit from your account if it considers you have acted fraudulently or not in good faith.
