The Ototoka Wind Farm site is between Waverly and Whanganui, in the Whanganui District, an area known for its high-quality wind resource.
The Ototoka site is largely surrounded by pastoral land. We have secured land options and are underway with wind monitoring and site assessments.
It is early days, but we estimate the wind farm could generate enough electricity to power more than 70,000 average kiwi households.
