Contact Energy Digital Bill Competition Terms and Conditions 2022
The promoter of the Contact Energy Digital Bill Competition (Promotion) is Contact Energy Limited (“us/we/Contact”).
The Promotion is open to existing residential customers with up to date accounts who sign in to their Contact online account on the Contact Energy app or via the website within the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt:
(a) this Promotion is not available when using the LPG Ordering app and accordingly an entry won’t be submitted when using that app ; and
(b) for the purposes of the Promotion, an up to date account is any account that has not been sent a second credit reminder letter at the point at which the winner is drawn (see clause 5 below).
Prize
Entries for the Promotion will open on Thursday 7 April 2022 and will close at 11.59pm on Thursday, 19 May 2022 (Promotion Period).
Each entrant who completes an entry in accordance with clause 2 above will receive one entry into the draw during the Promotion Period. For the avoidance of doubt, there is one entry per account.
The winners will be drawn on Monday 30 May 2022.
The winners will be contacted on or before Friday 3 June 2022.
The Prizes consist of one major prize of NZD$1000 (including GST) credit and four runner-up prizes of NZD$500 (including GST) credit all to be credited to the winners Contact Energy account. (Prizes).
The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook the company.
General
Our decision on all matters, including eligibility of entries, operation of the draw and the allocation of the Prize, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Our employees, their families, franchisees, agencies or anyone else connected with the creation or administration of the Promotion are not eligible to win the Prize.
Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions, and any entries received after 19 May 2022 will not be eligible for the draw.
A winner who does not respond within 14 days will forfeit the Prize and another winner will be selected and contacted.
No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside of our control. Proof of entry is not proof of receipt.
The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash, cash equivalents or any other prize.
We do not take any responsibility and we are not liable for any damage or harm caused through use of the prize, be it direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or any other form of damages or loss, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We retain the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original Prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
By entering the Promotion you agree that we may use your personal information for promotional purposes and for the purposes of administering the Promotion and you agree to participate in any publicity arrangements that we may reasonably require without payment or other compensation.
We reserve the right to terminate, modify or suspend this Promotion without notice at any time.
The promotion will be governed by New Zealand law.
